PATENT CO. is a producer of compound animal feed, protein concentrates, feed premixes, and special feed additives. The company was established in 1991 in Serbia and today is a member of Raiffeisen Ware Austria – RWA.
With an extensive business network, PATENT CO. operates across six continents. Our high-quality feed additives, including highly effective toxin binders and natural phytogenics, play a key role in improving animal performance.
By promoting animal welfare, replacing conventional growth promoters, enhancing feed efficiency, and supporting the overall wellbeing of farm animals, our solutions contribute to more sustainable and responsible animal nutrition practices globally.

History
Since our founding in 1991, we have grown from a small, family-owned local business into a recognized global player in the feed additives industry, delivering sustainable solutions to the animal nutrition sector worldwide.
From the heart of South-East Europe, we have successfully combined family values and heritage with international resources, research, and innovation. Today, we are proud to be part of a global network of partners—including customers, collaborators, distributors, research experts, and institutes—working together to advance animal nutrition and feed safety, as we continue to operate as a member of RWA, in synergy with agromed Austra GmbH.

Safety and quality
We are committed to producing and delivering products that meet the highest feed safety standards. By strictly adhering to all legal and regulatory requirements in line with EU regulations and directives, we ensure full compliance and reliability.
Our focus on sustainable performance is supported by the consistent application of recognized quality and safety standards and systems. This includes the implementation of ISO certificates, HACCP, and GMP+ across all processes, ensuring safety, quality, and trust at every stage of production and delivery.
Research and innovation

Quality
The main objectives of the Quality Department of PATENT CO. are to:
- Monitor processes from the procurement of raw materials through production to final control and distribution.
- Ensure the required product safety and consistent quality.
- Implement and maintain full compliance with all regulatory authorities for the production of animal feed, premixes, and additives for local and global markets.
Quality Control of raw materials and finished products
- Each material used in the production of finished products is inspected upon arrival. Inbound quality control is carried out according to standard procedures for all materials, including grains and oilseeds.
Each finished product undergoes routine quality control procedures. Only after approval by the Quality Department are products released for delivery to customers. Samples of the finished products are retained until the product’s expiry date.
